Senior Night Float

This rotation consists of two four-week blocks during your PL3 year. Each block is subdivided into two two-week rotations, one of which is spent at AFCH, as the “Mole” and one of which is spent at Meriter Hospital, as the “Badger”.

Mole

You will supervise a PL1, covering the wards and the heme-onc unit. The hours of this rotation are Sunday through Thursday night, 5 pm to 7 am.

Badger

You will cover the normal newborn nursery, attend deliveries with the NICU resident, and supervise procedures in the NICU. The hours of this rotation are Sunday through Wednesday night, 5 pm to 7 am.
